Overview
Region 11Region 11 is located in south central Oregon on the California and Nevada borders. Klamath County's principal industries include lumber and wood products, agriculture, transportation, and recreation. A major focus of recreation in this region is Crater Lake, Oregon's only national park and the leading tourist attraction in the state. Government employment is a major force in the county's economy, between this national park, the Winema National Forest, and the Air National Guard facility at Kingsley Field.
