Washington County Sees an Increase in Full-Time Workers in the Highest Income Tiers

In 2016, 46 percent of the Washington County population ages 16 and over worked full time. The number of full-time workers in Washington County has increased by 18 percent over the past five years, compared with a 4 percent increase in those not working full time. The income tier of full-time workers making more than $100,000 a year saw the greatest increase, growing by 16,441 workers. Twenty percent of full-time workers in Washington County were in that highest income tier in 2016.
