Employment and Unemployment in Oregon's Counties

In December, the unemployment rate decreased or remained unchanged in 33 of Oregon’s 36 counties and increased in three. Fifteen counties had unemployment rates at or below the statewide rate of 5.2%, and one (Hood River County) had a rate at or below the U.S. rate of 4.4%.
